Buttered Baker is a leading Cape Town based catering service that was founded in 2018 by a mother, daughter, and daughter-in-law trio. Like any trio, each role highlights their unique talent and skill-set to the end product. From acquiring the corporate or private occasion, Sumaya tailor makes a menu that is unique to the tastebuds of the client. Waheda ensures that each meal is prepared with love and only the best quality ingredients. Lastly, with a creative eye and refined attention to detail, Mumtaaz ensures that the final presentation exceeds the expectation of the client.
The company started off as a home industry and has now expanded into a fully fledged catering service. Since its inception we have maintained the same ethos of preparing home cooked meals made with love. Our philosophy is simple yet effective in that “if we can’t eat it, we can’t serve it”.
In a short space of time our journey in this competitive industry has taught us that quality is the key to success. Bearing this in mind our approach to food will always be fresh, innovative and eye catching.
